Part 1 | What I've Been Buying

Hey girls! hope your all enjoying your weekend. For a change, I've decided to sit in and chill out this weekend with the boyfriend as we really need to start saving for our holiday and I have his birthday and two courses to pay off.. even though I have no idea how I'm going to manage to save for all of it! Friday night we sat in got a chinese and watched Safe Haven. I have been dying to see this film after reading the book. If anyone hasn't read it I recommend you do! It's the type of book were the story unravels right through the end and finishes with a big twist, who doesn't love those type of books?! Anyway.. I loved the film and lived up to my imagination of how I thought it would have been, few jumpy bits in it but that's what made it. Currently looking for a new book to read so if you have suggestions please let me know! Unfortunately, I work all day Saturday & Sunday at the weekends so last night my boyfriend treated me to an Eddie Rockets after work, yum. After I finish this post I'll be off to get myself ready for another days work, praying it won't be busy today! Friday myself and my boyfriend went shopping and I picked up some beauty products that I can't to show you all but for now onto these..

Nude Magique BB Cream: Finally I've bought myself a BB cream, I've read so many reviews about soo many different ones I really couldn't decide which one to try out. So with the help of my sister I bought this for €15. Quite expensive but it was definitely worth it! I got the light shade because I want to wear it as a primer kind of base under my foundation. After one application I was impressed! I was never into these creams that claimed perfect skin etc., but to my surprise I had flawless looking skin. It gives full coverage and hides blemishes. My skin isn't at its greatest at the moment so this product is key at the moment.

Catrice Eyebrow Pencil: I am bit obsessed with eyebrows and I love trying out eyebrow products. Catrice is a really cheap brand. It wouldn't be my first instinct to use the products but to find this eyebrow pencil at roughly €2 I couldn't say so. The brush on the other end is a bonus. I have really light brows and blonde hair so dark eyebrows makes me look like I have black eyebrows so I picked up the colour for blonde brows. Although, I have to go keep going over it, it doesn't bother me because If I make any mistakes it's easy to fix.

Catrice Gel Eyeliner: Another product I'm obsessed with.. eyeliner! For my debs back in 2011 the mua used a gel eyeliner on me and I absolutely loved it. Since then I was never really bothered about buying one although I really wanted one.. Yes it took me nearly two years to buy this! Madness.. anyway this product cost €4 and for the price it is a decent eyeliner. It's in the colour black jack, I always look for the blackest black because it comes up nicer, anything lighter almost looks grey. I've used it everyday since I've got it and I absolutely love it. Soon tho I will purchase one from Mac and compare the two in a new post.

Overall, I am very impressed with all of these products and I will definitely repurchase them. I finally picked up my first Revlon lipbutters and a few other bits that I will show you all tomorrow! Unfortunately, I had to make this post a little small & quick because I've to go get ready for work! But I just wanted to try do at least one post now at weekends as I always post during the week and I figured most people would sit and look at blogs at the weekend.. like myself! Enjoy the rest of the weekend x

Sleek Makeup

After using my two Sleek eyebrow kits for awhile, I have been dying to try out more products from the Sleek range. I have my eyebrow kits awhile now and I have used them everyday since it arrived! I've done two separate posts on these one about the products last year, one about the kits here and how I fill my eyebrows in here. Now these posts I done last year so please excuse my bad photography skills! Anyway, Blush is something I'm never really bothered about when it comes to doing my makeup. I never dwell on it too much but now that I want to build up my makeup collection, I want every colour blush under the sun! I came across these Sleek blush by 3 on the website. There were a few palettes to choose from so it was hard to make a decision of which one to buy, after doing a little research online I decided on the palette 'Sugar'. These are colours I would never go for, but considering I want to build my makeup collection I'm going to have to experiment! It's the only way. The first two blushes are red-toned - way out of my comfort zone, but surprisingly gorgeous sutle colours once applied. The third is an orange toned which doesn't look too orange on but a peachy sort of shade. There the type of Blushers you need to keep blending and applying to build up the colour but this is why I love them because it's quite difficult to correct a dark blusher. With these I don't have to worry about that.

Lipgloss.. another product I need to build up on! And again a makeup product I'm never to bothered about. I would gladly go a day without lipgloss but now I'm trying my best to top it up as the day goes by so I get use to the feel of it. I'm more of a lipstick person as I find them more comfortable to wear. I find some lipglosses too sticky and heavy at times. I came across a few great reviews on this lipgloss so when I seen it was in stock I had to get it! As you can tell it's rich in colour and it has a gorgeous shine when it's applied, but it's not too much.
I bought all my Sleek Makeup products on This is an Irish website which is brilliant for products you can't get in shops near you. A lot of times I've checked this website and they had Sleek products on sale. Delivery is so so so cheap too which is a bonus! If any of my Irish readers or followers haven't visited this website before, DO!
I have a few posts lined up including makeup tutorials using all makeup products I have reviewed already so keep an eye out. Check out my blog tomorrow for a new post!

OOTN | Yellow Mellow

I can't believe it's been nearly a month since I have blogged, doesn't actually feel that long! Although I constantly check my own blog and others it dawned on me until I read the date on my last post, woops. Well the whole month of March I have been a busy bee.. With year one of college coming to and end I have been trying to get my record of experience book finished, studying for my dental exam, typing up assignments ( which are still in process) and working at the weekend. Yes, it's been quite hectic. But I am sooo excited to be finished in three weeks time, yay! As I have had such a break from blogging I am ready to get back into the swing of things. I'm not sure about you but when I want to write a post I usually take the photo's of whatever I want to blog about upload them and write about it straight away. From reading a lot of 'Blogging Tips' I came across a lot of bloggers that take their photo's in bulk.. I love taking photo's and I am pretty sure if I set out a day of 'photography' I'm sure I'll get some decent photo's. Anyways.. I would love to hear from my readers on how they manage their blog, I really want to become more organised!
Last weekend I headed out to town with my boyfriend and a few of his friends. Usually I'm a bit sceptical about going into town for a night out because you always have to be on your guard for any trouble. But it was a great night, everyone was in a good mood and it was one of the best nights out.
A lot of the photo's are just us the nightclub very drunk so I'm not too keen on uploading them onto my blog, maybe if I ever look half decent in them! I had purchased a dress for this night but when I tried it on it wasn't the best so as it was pay day Friday I went shopping and came across this gorgeous yellow dress from Topshop
Topshop is way to pricey for my liking even though I absolutely love the clothes but to my delight this dress was €49. Some may say it still is expensive but for that price in Topshop I personally think it's really good.
I love love love the detail in this dress, the material, the colour and the cut out sides in the front and back really make it different. As this was such an impulse I'm definitely going to wear it again and bring it with me on holidays. It's a gorgeous bright colour which was a nice break from all the dark colours!
Oh how I love Spring/Summer. I also took a few snaps of my makeup so I will write a post about it very soon!
