RI,H&M,BT2 Haul and OOTD

Hey everyone, so I had been planning to put up new posts the past few days but unfortunately a few things came up so I'm a bit late on this post but ah well! On Friday I did some shopping with my lovely boyfriend!

Pink blazer cost 24.95 euro
The jeans cost 25 euro, they were 48 but went down:)
The Mac pro fill palette cost roughly 56 Euro

It's my sisters birthday this month so I also picked up her present which I know she's going to love, but I'm not mentioning on this what I got her!

And here is what I wore that day too:

I usually back comb my hair everyday for a bit of volume but on Friday I thought I'd leave it straight, sleek and left out the back combing!

My brown cardigan is from Dunnes store it cost 20 euro I think? My white top is from H&M and cost 4.95 euro, I love the plain tops out of H&M they're such good quality! My jeans are from Zara they cost roughly 20 euro I got these awhile ago so I'm not sure if they still have them in! My necklace is from penneys which cost 3 euro:)

New Mac Profill Palette

For Valentines day my boyfriend got me a BT2 voucher so I finally decided to get another Mac Pro fill palette as my first one is so handy and I just love having a small palette with an eye shadow look! So like the last time I went up to the Mac counter and got assistance and this is what I came out with..

From top left :             Arena
                                   Cork
                                   Mulch
                                   Handwritten

I really like these colours that I got because I've always heard of them on Youtube and other blogs so with picking up another two will add another look I could do.. What I love about this palette is I can wear it at night and the two lighter colours in the day time. So finally I can now mix and match with my two Mac pro fill palettes. These are so handy because I can just pop it into my bag if I need a touch up.
I really recommend anyone starting out with their makeup collection to go in and get one of these palettes instead of picking up an eye shadow now and then. They are great to have and last ages! It's also cheaper to refill as well :) Soon I'll post pictures of this look!

Hoola By Benefit

Hi everyone! today I decided to do a post on Benefits bronzer 'Hoola'. I've heard that this bronzer was really good so I decided to take a trip to Benefit and get me some Hoola!

So as you can see it comes with a mini contouring brush, I have used it as I didn't have the right contouring brush (but now I do, yay!) Anyway, this bronzer is lasting me ages and
I wear it almost everyday! It's a gorgeous matte shade it has no shimmer in it which I personally love. I like to use a matte bronzer on my cheekbones and then highlight.
Basically it's great for contouring and lightly all over your skin!
It costs roughly around 33 euros which would be about 28 pounds? not too sure. It is pricey but well worth the money spent!

My Tanning Routine

Okay I admit it.. I'm a fake tan junkie! I cannot go a day without wearing tan. So here are my most favourite tans I like to use:

  • Rimmel instant tan: medium matte
  • Rimmel instant tan: fair matte
  • L'Oreal sublime bronze

So the tans I've mentioned here in this post are the ones I like to use daily. I don't like to wear too much tan during the day because then at night when i'm going out it doesn't look any different.
Before applying tan it's soo important to exfoliate and get rid of dry skin, if you apply your tan without exfoliating dry skin becomes very visible and you don't want that to happen.

Next thing to do is apply moisturizer, the one I like to use when applying tan is Garnier body summer body. Applying this everyday will gradually give a sun kissed look. It smells absolutely gorgeous and it drys instantly! I highly recommend it.

After exfoliating and moisturizing I then whip out my fake tan! :) I apply L'Oreal sublime bronze, there's two types of this tan. One thats clear and the other one which is the bronze, I like to use the bronze as its easy to see when applying so you don't have any patches or streaks. This tan develops over a few hours and best way to get good results is to apply before going to bed and the next day you'll find it much darker.

It does say fair skin on the bottle but it isn't a light tan, even if you apply a small amount it comes up a dark natural looking tan which I love because it goes really well with the colour of the foundation I use.

I personally think that the Rimmel instant tan in medium matte goes really well over this tan and it looks so nice, anytime I use these two tans together everyone always asks me what tan I use.

I use the fair matte colour on my face and neck before applying my foundation. I hate applying a dark tan to my face because I personally think it looks dirty and you find yourself taking some of it off before applying foundation.
So I tried the fair matte colour on my face and neck and it looked so natural and my foundation went really well over it.

These products are also cheap, L'Oreal sublime is a bit expensive but it's definitely worth buying it lasts so long and your definitely getting your moneys worth.

Vera Wang Princess

This is my favourite perfume so I just had to do a blog on it.
I got it as a gift from my lovely boyfriend!
It comes with a smaller bottle which is soo handy as I can bring it with me on nights out! The creams are lovely and smell just like the perfume itself.

The creams that come in the set are body lotion and a body polish, as you can see I've used a good bit of it already. The best way for your perfume so stay on longer is if you use the creams you get with it! All creams that perfume come with smell just like the perfume so if you apply it onto your body and then spray on your perfume it will certainly last all day. It's a must have in your perfume collection! Xo

Haul: Sephora

Hi everyone! as I mentioned in my last post I have been away,
Myself and my boyfriend went to Krakow, Poland for 5 days and we had an amazing time over there!  While we walked around the City I came across Sephora!

I was thrilled to discover they had Sephora because unfortunately there is no Sephora shop in Ireland :( and just couldn't resist going in..

What's inside?...

I'm in serious need of some blushes, bronzers, powders and highlighters and a contouring brush! So I thought it would be best to get what I needed..

So this is the Sephora sculpting disk, it's so big it will last me ages!

So the middle powder is matte powder, you apply this tot your entire face using a powder brush. The first bronze powder you use to define your cheeks and jawline.
The third powder is for highlighting, you use a blush brush and apply to the bridge of the nose, brow, cheekbones, and decolletage.

I also picked up this matifying compact powder in the colour warm cognac.
I needed a bit darker compact powder as the one in the sculpting disk is much lighter but I will use that too!

As you can tell it's a few shades darker than the one in the sculpting disk

Blush me twice! I absolutely love the colours in this and I've always wanted to use two different blushes but I never knew which colours to mix!

The lighter colour is a dark peach/pink colour with a gold shimmer and the second colour is a dark matter shade which  I love.

And last but not least, a contouring brush. I needed one of these sooo bad! This is a must have when doing makeup, it's like not having a foundation brush! It's great for applying blushes and bronzers. You will notice the difference once you try it!

So you can purchase these products from their website I'm sure..

Happy Valentines Day!

Since it's Valentines Day, I thought to myself sure why not do a blog on it? :)
Probably the most lovable day of the year! Well that is for the ones in relationships!
And for those who are not there's always hope  :)
I've been such a lucky girl and got spoiled rotten by my lovely boyfriend who I'm with a year now, since we're going away tomorrow he told me last week there would be no point in  getting me flowers  because I'd be away..
But then to my surprise he knocked on my door with the nicest bunch of roses with a little love heart in it! Talk about being chuffed with myself :D

I also got a gorgeous me to you bear card, a big box of chocolates and last but not least a BT2
voucher! Which means.. new MAC makeup woohoo :-)
My boyfriend knows exactly how to put a smile on my face and achieves every time he tries!

He made me so so so happy when he gave me my valentine present
I'm so lucky to have him!
Off to Poland in the morning so when I'm back I'll sure to update my blog with some pictures

Happy Valentines Day everyone! Xo

Monthly Favourites: February

Hi everyone! I've been sick for the past week hence the reason why I haven't been blogging. I've finally gotten around to doing so. Here is my very first monthly favourites I hope you enjoy :)
These are the products I'm currently loving at the moment.

This is the palette I've mentioned in one of my posts,
I absolutely love this, I've used this sooo many times since I've got it.

In order from top left the Mac eye shadow colours are:

Simply click on the link and go select shade by name :)
The palette is also in order in which you apply them to your lid, I will post a blog on this look soon!

This is the Urban Decay 24/7 liquid eyeliner
It has a really thin brush so it's really easy to do a thin eye liner look which I personally think is much better for a daytime look. I love thick and thin eye liner but it's always better to have thin eyeliner during the day as I don't want it looking to heavy.

I love this Glaze lipstick for during the day.
It's a nice suttle pink lipstick, not too pink and not too nude!
It also goes really well with the Mac pro fill palette I've mentioned.

So this powder blush is great for daytime, it's a nice suttle pink
but you really have to be careful you don't put too much on
because it can look really pink and stupid! With a few practice applys you will be find!

This bronzer is in the shade 51, it's a really light bronzer which is good for during the day again and it's a matte one so there's no shimmery effect to it! (I'm not a fan of shimmery bronzers!) I'd use this to lightly brush on my face. It wouldn't be the best for contouring as you'd really need something darker for contouring, you can also get ones in darker shades
if you want it for contouring.
